Getting Ready for Your Visit?  Check out this link to our Frequently Asked Questions

Looking to Head out for a Meal? Check out these dining establishments that we reccomend close to home. All are located about 9 -10 miles away by road near the shore of Lake Superior. Make sure to visit their web sites to check out the menus. We also keep copies of resteraunt menus at the guest house for your reference.

New Scenic Cafe : Great, unique food, with excellent service and presentation. Usually some local items if available. Reservations are a must for a weekend dinner. Located on the Scenic Route

Nokomis Restaurant : Not far up the shore from the New Scenic. High quality and interesting food that's worth the visit.

Lighthouse on Homestead:  Located on Homestead Road at the Hwy 61 Expressway, this is the last "close to home" location.  Casual, tasty food - the place to get a good burger with onion rings.

Headed into town? These two local breweries top our list of where we like to visit!

Fitger's Brewhouse: Great locally brewed beer in a historic brewery in Downtown Duluth.  Located 17 miles from Namebini. Lots of shopping opportunities in the same complex as well.

The Thirsty Pagan Brewery:  If you're headed out on the town, stop over in Superior, WI, 23 miles away.  This is a great newer microbrewery in an old bar (smoke free!) with amazing beer & pizza, plus it often hosts live music nights.

Beyond Our Borders:  Most of our guest combine walking our trails and fishing with the numerous other recreational opportunities are available in the area.  From cross country skiing in the winter to rock climbing in summer, take the time to get outside and experience Minnesota's North Shore.
