Guided Fly Fishing
Guided fly fishing trips travel to a variety of destinations where we catch brook, brown and rainbow trout, as well as steelhead, salmon, smallmouth bass and northern pike. Check out our photo gallery here.
Where We Guide: We specialize in the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota and the South Shore in Wisconsin, as well as inland fisheries in both states. These locations include famous areas such as Wisconsin’s Bois Brule River, well known places like the St. Louis River, and small, hidden streams on Minnesota’s North Shore, among other venues. Check out trip options.
What’s Included: In each full day of guided fly fishing, we include a filling, personalized lunch, snacks, and transportation from the Duluth-Two Harbors area. Namebini specializes in custom planning a trip to suit your individual fly fishing goals. Whether your trip will be your first time casting a fly rod, or if you’re looking to learn the finer points of casting, mending or fly presentation, we’ll tailor your trip just for you. We also enjoy highlighting our local wildlife, natural history, ecology, and geology. Bring your kids! We loved teaching the next generation.
What’s Not: Flies and other terminal tackle, rods, reels, waders, vests, boots. All are available for an additional charge and are rented on a daily basis. Check out our Rates Page for more information and for guided trip rates.
Walk & Wade, Float a River or Boat a Lake: Many options are available from hiking into a remote canyon to gliding down a river in a drift boat or canoe. We also travel to local inland lakes for motorboat trips. Note: There is a limit of three anglers per guide for walk-wade parties. Float trips are limited to two anglers per guide. Large parties are not suitable for some of our smaller, hike-in only waters, where one or two guests are optimal.
Personalizing Your Trip: Every guided fly fishing trip is a unique adventure and we strive to make your trip special. Please plan to spend some time on the phone with us before your trip. We can discuss your fishing experience, where you would like to fish, the species you would like to target, and the many other nuances of a day on the water. We’re here for you and want to work with you to make the most of your experience.
